New Years Eve in Salem

- Will had a conversation with Kate about Nick.  Can we please get Kate a storyline.  If Will wants his baby, all he would have to do is unleash Glamma Kate on Gabi & Nick.
- Marlena explaining things to Hope about the Kristen drama was so funny. Poor Hope, not only does she need a man, but she is clueless.
- Sami is running a company, but still has time to plan Gabi's wedding.  Gabi came very close to confiding her baby daddy issue, until Sami burst in and blamed Eric for making her upset. Boring, blah!
- Kristen's character is so mysterious and I'm living it.  As she was getting drilled by Brady and poppa John walked right into the action.  Her plan is working great.
- Someone finally called out Brady for sleeping with a woman who use to burp him as an infant.  It's still hot nonetheless.
- Kristen taunts Marlena in the park with the best sex hair in Salem.
- Judi Evans may be the hottest woman in Salem.  Why the show will not write for her and Justin is dumb.
- Brady has a slow dad.  Poor John needs a few more brain cells due to the Dimera brainwashing.  Maybe John is jealous because he can't get an erection like Brady?  Hey, if things work out with Kristen's plans and she gets John back, he can always go after his other step momma Marlena.
- Kristen is driving Marlena batshit crazy!  I'm loving this revenge storyline.  Go Kristen, Go Kristen!
- Kate and Adriane make up, kinda.
- Sami's two braids look a hot mess!  It's unbeweaveable.
- Sami would have more fun in bed with EJ than badgering Gabi.  What is she waiting for? 
- Kristen is talking to herself just as she use to do in the 90s.  She needs a refund from all that theropy she had in Europe.  She looked beyond hot in that right blue dress.  Would you like some champaign, John?

OMG, Days was so good today!
- I actually tolerated Daniel & Jen today.  Don't know why, but I did.  Hated that ugly blue sweater that the styling dept must have ordered from L.L. Bean that Daniel was in.  Jen looked great. Kissy kiss...Barf!
- The Will storyline is getting boring.  I like snarky upbeatEjill.  Sami/Will/EJ would be the best thing ever.  Too bad it won't happen.
- Yes father Eric, I am having your nephew's baby and we are going to tell all of Salem it's Nick's baby.  Shut up Gabi, thanks!
- Kate looked AMAZING today!  She needs a good storyline.  How about Kate/Stefano/Bill Horton/Laura Horton?  Sounds juicy!
- Kristen loves being smacked around on the desk & by Marlena!  She should have hauled off and slapped Marlena back.
- I like that we are getting tons of sex with Brady!  He needs a raise!
The dialog was on point!  That is what stuck out for me today!

Amusing things about today's episode:
- Jen saying she tried on 3 outfits for Daniel when she was really just having hot flashes.
- Sami's red lipstick
- Hope not having a life anymore.  She and Billie just walk around town.
- Daniel and everyone else in Salem using the exact same cell phone.
- Daniel still remembering who Parker its.
- Nicole asking out Father Eric on a New Years date.
- EJ looking "smashing" in his pink shirt.
- EJ and Chad pretty much talking about who is going to get laid first.  I bet on Chad.
- Rafe calling Sami a tease and wants to know if she and EJ are together.
- Father Eric wanting Nicole to stop drinking for New Years and volunteer her time.
- EJ thinking in his head thart he could steal Abby from Chad if he wanted!  She likes "daddies" *cough Austin*.
- Sami telling Rafe she is stuck in the middle between he and EJ. 
Lastly, Days must have gave my girl Eileen Davidson a day off.  She needs it.  Laying in bed with Brady all day is hard work!

Christmas 2012 in Salem!

The Days episodes that I most look forward to are the ones that take place during the Christmas season! The Hortons really do make Christmas special in Salem. Most all of Salem has an ornament and we get the chance to see how everyone are connected.  Here is what stood out for me:

Hortons

• We see the usual clan gathering at the Horton home to hang their ornament.  We see Jennifer host most Salem with the help of Julie and Maggie.  I love that the show still has Maggie as a key member of the Horton Family as she has moved on with Victor since Micky's passing.  She will always and forever be a Horton.  I loved her line in Wednesday's episode where she said she was not a blood Horton, but Tom and Alice always made her feel welcomed and loved. 

• Besides the usual Horton family members that were there, the only thing that really stood out to me was when Kate answered the Horton phone.  I loved how the show set this up!  Surprise!  Bill Horton was on the other line.  Kate lit up brighter than the Horton tree!  Now that Kristen is back, I would love for them to bring Bill and Laura back.  It could be a great triangle for Bill/Laura/Kate and Laura could be there for Marlena now that Kristen is BACK!  All the Horton scenes were really good this year, but I have to say that the Dimeras had my attention.

Now let's talk about my FAVORITE Days family!  I have never been more excited than I am now about where the show is going to take the Dimeras. 

• Kristen:  I love that she is using Brady to get back at Marlena!  It is kind of weird that she use to have a nursery in the Dimera Mansion for him when she and John were together and now she is hosting her bed for him at the Salem Inn.  She had some great scenes today with EJ, Chad, Skyped Stefano, and dead Lexie.  She hints to EJ that she is using Brady, gets Chad to agree to join the Dimera reunion via skype, and steals flowers from another grave and tosses them over to Lexie.  I think the new Kristen really has not changed much, and I am loving THAT!  The only request that I have, is that they move her back into the Dimera Mansion and out of the Salem Inn! 

• EJ:  He and Kristen have been attached at the hip.  They are helping each other much like Kristen and Peter did in the 90s.  I love that they are helping each other get what they want.  He is very active with his kids as of late.  She is still unsure if she wants to be with EJ or Rafe.  I really hope they explore Ejami.    They were one big happy family at the Brady and at Mass.  Loved seeing all the kids!

This is what really stood out for me over the past two days.  Let's hope for ratings gold going into the New Year!  I love Days and connecting with other fans.
